The business visionary which has transformed a small unit in the heart of Southall into one London’s top recording studios and, more recently, road shows. With over 40 years in the music business, Papa Joe has worked with some of the top UK Asian artists including Malkit Singh, DCS, Heera, Alaap and Apna Sangeet; and has toured with Gurdaas Maan, Surinder Shinda, Kuldeep Manak across India.
Papa Joe is no stranger to the studio where he’s often seen overlooking the team ensuring the artists are well looked after. His dedication, work ethic and desire outshines a lot of people as he is the first one in and the last one to leave 7 days a week!
Raj Nandhra – ( Sound Man )
It’s often said without a good sound engineer, an artist and/or the show will look or sound terrible. At Papa Joe’s studio, that’s not the case.
Raj, often seen on our roadshows, is one of the pillars of our team in ensuring the audience endure a fantastic sound experience from our artist, and our light shows at our productions have that elegance and "wow" factor.
Nik Jutla / DJ Nix – Head DJ and Entertainment
The prodigal son of Papa Joe who, from a young age, loved the turntables.
Starting out a DJing for his school at end of year parties, Nik Jutla rise to fame caught the eye of a local London roadshow which he toured with for 3 years. During this time, Nik learnt the ability to read the crowd, how the crowd responded to specific tracks and how to ensure he can get every person at the party dancing.
After leaving the roadshow he stepped into Papa Joe Studios with one goal in mind – to become the best. With a desire of beat-matching and mixing, Nik is known to combine Indian beats to Western music
